It's all about lovely Leicestershire!

First one I've got for you this time is a lovely 4 bed three storey town house. Really quirky exterior to this one, and it looks very well maintained overall, so will be ready to move right into for the owner occupier. It is pretty much a blank canvas throughout, so is ideal for someone looking to find a home they can really make their own... but it was those fabulous splashes of colour amidst the expanses of neutral white throughout that really drew my attention to this one.

While it's perhaps more subtly done having that small area of red wall in the

The latest Allsop commercial property auction is set for July 9th with some 90 lots under the hammer at a combined reserve value of €20 million.

A good mix of assets across the country is included in the auction – most of which are income-producing – while others offer buyers the chance to relet and/or add value.

Botanic House on Botanic Road in Dublin 9, which is being sold on the instruction of executors and comes with vacant possession, comprises a prominent public house arranged over basement and ground floors extending to about 529.53sq m (5,700sq ft). It is in turn-key condition and the

The latest figures from Auction House suggest that the auctions market may be picking up faster than the process of selling by private treaty.

In a week in which the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) said that the number of homes for sale has fallen to its lowest level since records began in 1978, Auction House is reporting that entries for the group’s June auctions has seen a year- on-year increase of over 50%.

Demand has improved across all property types and in most areas of the country. There are 375 lots entered in Auction House sales in June this year, compared to only 240

Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful dads out there - hope you've had a lovely day so far!

I've been having a look through some of the most recent catalogues and have a couple to share with you today.

The images for this initial one rendered me rather speechless at first glance, and that doesn’t happen often! This is a truly stunning character cottage in Warwickshire. Grade II listed and not seen on the market for decades, it’s clearly seen a lot of love and care over the years. With original features throughout, in particular those exposed wall and ceiling timbers, this cottage is

Auction-goers have a rare opportunity to buy more than 35 acres of semi mature woodland in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside. Dumplings Wood is half a mile north of the village of Barrington, near Cambridge, and is listed with a guide price of between £220,000 and £230,000.

A pair of commercial sites in the heart of Cambridgeshire are expected to generate plenty of interest when they also go under the hammer. The site comprises 16 individual business units that are used for a mixture of industrial and office purposes. It currently generates around £101,242 in rental income a year –

The bombed-out Hull theatre is once again going under the hammer later this month.

The current owner, Saleem Hakim, recently submitted a planning application to turn the front of the National Picture Theatre in Beverley Road into an alfresco dining area. He says those running The Swan restaurant next door want to use the ruins as a dining area.

Just over a year ago, Mr Hakim tried to sell the former theatre at auction. It was put up for sale with a reserve price of £60,000. But the bidding only reached £57,000 at the auction, which was held by Eddison's at Leeds United's Elland Road ground

The latest property auction by Merseyside based auctioneers, Sutton Kersh, generated proceeds of more than £5.5m.

With over 80% of lots offered being sold, reflects the serious bidding by investors who attended the sale at Stanley Dock’s Titanic Hotel.

Cathy Holt, joint head of auctions at Sutton Kersh, said: “Not only did investors turn out in large numbers, they were intent on bidding seriously for the majority of lots in order to make sure they were successful.

“This meant a large number were the subject of bidding wars, which also helped drive prices up.

“The result means we have generated

Got a lovely 4 bed character farmhouse for you, folks. This project property in Powys dates from the 1850s, and has loads of personality and potential, plus going by that quirky interior shot of the fab feature fireplace, it'll be a very unique and attractive family home. The property comes with an 8 acre smallholding and the added benefit of an attached workshop and stables, so this one will easily accommodate a wide range of interests and activities.

Yup, as you may have guessed from the age of the property, this one is in need of some updating now. But considering the blank canvas outside

Over 350 people attended Symonds & Sampson's latest property auction held at The Digby Hall, Sherborne, at the end of last month. The auction had 26 lots catalogued and ended with a 96% success rate.

Auctioneer Mark Lewis said that this was the highest percentage success rate, from the main auctioneers, in the UK for the whole of May and raised just under £5million.

The properties on offer were in Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire and attracted interest not only from the region but buyers also flew in from Spain and France.

Mr Lewis said: "We were showcasing the auction at The Move to the Country

A five bedroom bungalow only accessible by boat and a London flat which sold for double its guide price are just two of the 72 lots which sold in a record sale for Auction House London this month (Thursday 4 June 2015).

Hundreds of people packed the impressive ballroom of The Landmark Hotel in Marylebone Road, London. The venue was moved at the last minute from another room in the building in order to accommodate the high numbers of bidders attending the sale, which had a 90% success rate and which raised just short of £18m (£17,989,550).
