HOW WILL COVID-19 AFFECT FORTHCOMING AUCTIONS?

Hello to our visitors.  We hope that you are keeping safe and well.  Here's a quick update for you regarding what's happening with property auctions around the UK (as of 25th July 2022).

So Covid is still having an affect on live "in person" auctions, however July has seen some auctioneers back in the room - for example, Bond Wolfe Auctioneers - and more are due to follow suit in the Autumn.

Those that are still utilising an online bidding platform (some with virtual streaming), means that you can still bid, but just not in the auction room for now. Bidders will be able to carry out telephone, proxy or internet bids to secure their purchases, however the majority of auctions are still being held behind closed doors with no bidders able to attend in person.

Please contact the auctioneers directly to find out what they're doing and what you need to provide in order to register and bid on a property, including what ID documentation is required in advance.  Also, enquire as to whether any property viewings are taking place, and if not, whether virtual viewings are available for properties in the catalogues.

Timings for auctions might have changed so check in advance as to what time they commence. And remember to view the legal pack before you bid! We will add new confirmed auction dates to our calendar as and when advised by these auctioneers.

Here at UK Auction List, our small team are carrying on as normal. New properties will continue to be added to our database  when the catalogues are released and sent to us by the auctioneers; and unsold lots will be listed as and when the results from the auctions are confirmed.  Remember, the properties we list are for auction via the TRADITIONAL Method of auction sale, not Modern Method.

If you have any questions about our website, please do not hesitate to contact us - and if you have any questions or enquiries about the properties in our database, please contact the auctioneers directly.

Our thoughts are with all those currently affected by coronavirus in the UK and around the world. Take care of yourselves. Lottie and the rest of the team at UKAL x
