Q: How do I register?
A: Registering with UK Auction List is quick and easy, simply click on the Sign Up button in the menu above, or the purple register button (which can be found at the top right of any page), select your subscription and fill in the registration details.
Q: How long do I have to register for?
A: We offer one-monthly and three-monthly subscriptions (£9.95 and £19.95 respectively). The minimum subscription term is one month assuming that you cancel before your next payment is to be processed. The subscription renews automatically, so make sure you let us know if you want to cancel your membership (see below "how do I cancel").
An automated invoice will be emailed to the address that you provide upon registration, and this is issued so that you are aware of the type of subscription you have signed up for i.e. the 1 month or the 3 month. If you only require it for one month or three months, then it is your responsibility to cancel your subscription prior to the next payment being debited. We do not email out any further invoices unless specifically requested.
It’s worth noting that the majority of auction houses close in August and from mid-December to early January, so few properties are uploaded during this period. Catalogues at the beginning of each new year, start to be released from mid January, so best to keep checking back to see if there are any properties of interest, before you register.
Q: How much does it cost to register?
A: Monthly subscriptions are currently £9.95. Our three-month subscriptions are £19.95. These are set up as automatically recurring payments processed every month or three months until you cancel your subscription. Click here to register today. If you only want the service for the initial month or three month period, then you need to ensure that you cancel a day or two prior to the next billing date otherwise your membership continues and another payment will be debited.
Q: Are there any other fees or commission?
A: No, the only payment we take is the monthly or three-monthly subscription fee, which is inclusive of VAT.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We accept all cards except AMEX, SOLO and MAESTRO. Complete the payment process in the registration area.
Q: Is it safe to use my credit/debit card online?
A: When completing your subscription, you will be taken into a secure area which is managed by Sage Pay who employ the most sophisticated online trading system available. All transactions that take place are encrypted between your browser and the server. Nobody is able to access your credit card details nor other information.
Q: Can I get a refund at any time?
A: We only offer refunds in exceptional circumstances. We do not refund people who claim that they have not logged on to the site due to not receiving a username or password you create these during registration. The username and password are sent out automatically to your e-mail address (and there is the provision of a reminder facility). We do not offer refunds for non-cancellation of subscription. It is clearly stated during the payment process that this is a recurring subscription, and payment will continue on a monthly or 3 monthly basis until cancelled by you. If you only want the service for the initial 1 month or 3 month period and no longer, then you need to ensure that you cancel prior to the next billing date otherwise your membership continues.
Q: How do I cancel my account/subscription?
A: Cancelling your account/subscription is simple. Go to the 'My Account' area within your MyUKAL members homepage. At the bottom you will see a link entitled 'cancel my subscription'. When you click on this link you will be taken to a cancellation page, where you complete your details in the fields supplied. Once you click the 'SUBMIT' button, your account/subscription will be cancelled automatically and no further payments will be debited from your account. You will receive an email informing you of your cancellation and advising that you will receive access to your member’s area for the rest of the period that you have already paid for. We also ask you to keep this email safe, as it your proof of cancellation and if you can't locate the email within 24 hours of cancelling, to check your Junk Folder, and if it's not in there, to call us as immediately, to verify your email address and confirm that your account has been cancelled.
Please note that the only way to cancel is via your Account page in the Member’s Area. As soon as you cancel your subscription, your recurring payment is automatically cancelled as well.
BEFORE YOU REGISTER....
When searching for auction property in a particular location via Google or a similar search engine, the results sometimes display tagged pages from our website. These are from past auctions and you will not be able to view these tagged pages on our actual website if the properties are from auctions that have taken place over 6 weeks ago.
If you find a property via a search on a search engine, always check on our website www.ukauctionlist.com for the same property before you register and make sure that it's a current property for auction. And remember that the majority of auction houses close in August and from mid-December to early January, so few properties are uploaded during this period. Catalogues at the beginning of each new year, start to be released from mid January, so best to keep checking back to see if there are any properties of interest, before you register.
