Boost for Cheshire house hunters

House hunters in the North West have received a boost to their chances of finding affordable new homes in Cheshire thanks to a deal between Bovis Homes and Cheshire East Council, which makes three new two-bedroom cottages at the Brook Valley development in Congleton available with a special Local Home Ownership Scheme.

The lucky owners who qualify for the scheme can pick up one of these new properties for just 70% of their market value - £103,250. Local house hunters who would like to know more about the scheme should contact the housebuilder straight away to find out more, as these new homes are not expected to be on the market very long.

"The scheme makes homes available to local people who are currently in housing need, which means living in unsuitable conditions and unable to afford housing at open market prices," says Bovis Homes Regional Sales Director Alison Tindle. "We're delighted to partner the council in this scheme and provide these lovely new homes. They are designed for modern, open-plan living and have our usual all-inclusive features - such as a fully-fitted kitchens with appliances and fitted wardrobes which means the buyer won't have all those budget-draining extra costs when they move in."
