John Earle's cracking start...

Richard Abbey held John Earles first Land and Property auction of the season. Six very different lots were being offered and to a fantastically over full auction room at Henley Golf & Country Club. With excellent bidding. Richard achieved some remarkable results for the firm’s clients.

Lot 1 – Barn at Salters Lane, Bearley, Stratford-upon-Avon £100,000

This lot started with auction with very strong bidding, with a reserve of £60k this barn achieved a selling price of £100,000.

Lot 2 – Langley, Stratford-upon-Avon £52,000

With a good local interest in this arable/pasture land the bidding took the sale price to just under £20k per acre.

Lot 3 – Barn at Ashford Manor Farm, Hockley Heath £220,000

As expected for this Lot there was bidding from all corners of the room resulting in gavel falling at a very respectable £220k. 

Lot 4 – Vauns Oaks, Icknield Street, Beoley, B98 9AD £762,000

With a guide price of £625k the bidding started slowly. Three parties fought it out, with the gavel coming down at  staggering £762k.

Lot 5 – Mill Road, Leamington Spa £65,000

The bidders entered into a spirited competition resulting in Richard Abbey achieving 10k over the reserve.

Lot 6 – Orchard Farm, The Ridgeway, Astwood Bank, B96 6LX Withdrawn

This Lot did not quite make the reserve. However, ongoing discussions continue with a couple of interested parties.
