Grand Designs Live, proudly sponsored by Anglian Home Improvements, returns to London’s ExCeL from the 29th April – 7th May 2017.

Running for 9 days, the show offers visitors a unique opportunity to see all the latest trends for the home as well as many products never seen before.

Based on the Channel 4 TV series, and presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, the event is packed with over 500 exhibitors, across seven different sections offering ideas and inspiration for your very own Grand Design, however big or small.

Launched in London in 2004, and in Birmingham in 2005 the show has won multiple industry awards has been hailed ‘the UK’s most successful exhibition launch in the last decade’.

Grand Designs Live promises to break down the conventional limitations to home building and offers visitors a chance to discover the latest innovations, explore this year’s trends and preview unseen products.

Always wanted to meet the face of Grand Designs? Head to the Grand Theatre, sponsored by Airflow, to see Kevin McCloud, Charlie Luxton and a host of industry experts live on stage as they lead educational seminars, interactive live drawing sessions and dynamic debates.

Specialists including RIBA architects, interior designers, landscape gardeners, financial, planning and eco experts, will be available to discuss your own grand design in free 30-minute consultations. Every year, Kevin McCloud’s Green Heroes celebrates the best conceptual and eco-friendly construction ideas. It's the perfect place to find inspiration for your own self-build plans and eco developments. Kevin has personally selected his top 10 heroes of 2016, from small-scale start-ups to big businesses setting a green example for the rest of the industry. Be inspired by the innovative designs set to shape the future.

Come and visit the Self-Build Centre and take part in cob building and upcycling workshops, plus see demonstrations to help you pursue your own self-build projects. They have talks and demos on plumbing, plastering and finding a plot, as well as many more tips and tricks. The DIY School, Earth Hands and Houses and Rag N Bone Workshop are just some of the speakers they have on stage over the nine-day show.
