Future auctions property HOT PICKS!

Wow it's hotting up already and not even 11am!  I'm going to share a couple of my favourite future auction lots before heading out into the sunshine!

So the first one for you is a really quirky development opportunity in Gainsborough. One of those 'Grand Designs' type of projects. You're starting off with a striking and unique style Water Tower, and thanks to the planning permission, the end result is expected to be a single dwelling in the building itself, with a further two dwellings created on the grounds.

I really love this one, and not just because it's so unusual and different for a development project. This is already a quite beautiful creation before any new work on it begins. I adore all of the little details in the original design of this Grade II Listed Water Tower exterior, they are totally fab! Everything from the gorgeous little porthole window, to the variety of other window shapes/styles, the unusual hexagonal design overall, and the varying shades of colour in the building materials used to create it.

This is the most attractive water tower I've ever seen! It is understood to date from 1897-1898 by engineer Henry Riley, and will be a wonderfully unique home in future. Equally so for the two additional dwellings as well if the artist's impression is in keeping with the work that commences after it's purchased at auction. This one is rather memorable, and I know I'll be keeping an eye out for it in future. Would love to see the end result of this one after completion of the conversion/development work. Photos on a postcard to me, please!

Now, on to my second offering of the day, and it's very much a case of last but not least with this one. I absolutely love everything about this property, with it's quirky appearance and stunning Worcestershire location! It is not every day we see such a charming property that is backing directly onto the river the way this one does, and it adds a magical quality to this idyllic setting.

Having began with an original building dating back to the 1600s, and with multiple extensions having been added in the years since, this property has a really quirky and attractive exterior that truly is unique. Now boasting 4 bedrooms, it has grown far beyond that original building, but has done so while retaining a multitude of original features. Full height open fireplace, cast iron bath, exposed beams and brickwork... this one ticks all the boxes, and those 2 acres of wonderful surroundings enhance this property even further still. This one is rather special, and will make an amazing family home :-)

Have a great weekend and catch up next week.
