Final 2016 Derby auction catalogue out now

The final SDL Graham Penny Derby auction catalogue of 2016 has launched today featuring more than 55 lots and is set to be the last at the iPro Stadium before Derby County reverts the ground name back to Pride Park.

The auction, on Wednesday 7th December, will see 58 varied residential investment houses, development land, mixed use properties and commercial premises from across Derbyshire and beyond go under the hammer.

Andrew Parker, auctioneer and managing director, commented: “Our December catalogue features several excellent development and investment opportunities from building plots and buy-to-let houses through to mixed use premises and even a former chapel.

“With all lots sold under the hammer, exchanging contracts in the auction room, buyers can expect to complete the purchase and get the keys for their new properties directly after Christmas.”

Amongst the lots going under the hammer in the Derby December auction are:

  •     14 Harrogate Crescent in Breadsall Hilltop – a two double bedroomed mid-terraced house with far reaching views across Derby and a guide price of £50,000+.
  •     31 Furnace Lane in Loscoe – an extended three detached house with potential to extend further and a guide price of £150,000+.
  •     83 Booth Street in Alvaston – a three bedroomed end terrace which is currently let at £5,724pa and has a guide price of £55,000+.
  •     Stanhope Bretby Methodist Church on Ashby Road East in Bretby – a particularly attractive detached Methodist Church which would suit a variety of different uses and has a guide price of £40,000+.

Since inception in 2006, SDL Graham Penny has sold more than 5,000 lots across the East Midlands and raised over £500m for clients. Formerly Graham Penny Auctions, it joined the SDL Group in early 2016, making the SDL Auctions network the fourth largest in the UK and the biggest outside of London.

Andrew added: “We have held our Derby auctions at the home of Derby County for 10 years and we’re delighted to conclude that in 2016 at the iPro Stadium and continue into 2017 under the new name of Pride Park Stadium.”
