Fab new auction property to brighten up your day!

Hey folks, I've got a fantastic six bedroom property in Merseyside to show you today. It's big, it's beautiful, and it's even got a little secret for you too... But we'll come back to that curious feature a bit later on though, because this is a property that has a LOT to offer and plenty to look at too! It takes merely a glance at this substantial detached house to see that you're getting a very good amount of property for the price!

Starting with that striking exterior, I found myself instantly drawn in by the strong sense of symmetry, and you know instantly from those large and plentiful windows that this should be a light and airy property throughout. It's a really nice to see just a touch of white walls with dark beams surrounding the mid-upper windows and above the front door, giving bags of additional charm and character to this bold brick exterior. It's a fantastic combination. I also love that the modern windows have the appearance of multiple small panes of glass, which adds even more to the wonderful blend of styles.

That lovely balance is echoed in many different ways throughout this lovely home, and is especially apparent in it's varied features, both old and new. Starting with the original features... there's moulded plastered ceilings, plate racks, a bell room indicator and wood block floors. Other excellent features include some rather pretty l octagonal bays that allow maximum light into their rooms, a really nice staircase, and some excellent art deco tiles and mosaic flooring too. This whole property is laden with fab features at every turn :-)

Now, if all that isn't quite enough for you yet... there's some lovely sounding fireplaces mentioned as well. Oh yes, and that secret I mentioned as well. This is definitely the perfect family home, so for all the peeps with kids or grandkids that like their own little space to play and imagine in, how does a secret playroom sound? Yup, there's a vertical staircase in the property that hides access to a secret playroom! Even the big kid in me gets excited at the sound of that one, I just wish they had included an image of the staircase or the secret room. It would have been amazing to take a peek!

So, what else have I still to mention? There's also the extensive part boarded attic space, a wine cellar with built in safe, oh yes, and French doors leading to the rear garden from both the lounge and morning rooms. Outside we have good sized gardens that appear easy enough to maintain, a patio for grabbing some sunshine with your morning cuppa, and there's even a sweeping driveway leading up to the property for cars. Heck, this one doesn't just have everything, it's also got the kitchen sink, and even a Belfast sink in the utility room :-D

This one is ideal for a family to move straight into as it is, but there's also some scope for the investor to potentially upgrade throughout and sell on, or for an owner occupier to make their mark on the place at their own pace after moving in. You really can do as much or as little as you'd like with this property, and while it probably would be a candidate for someone wanting to seek planning permission and divide a property of this size into apartments to maximise profit, it's definitely best suited to being left in it's current state so none of those original features, quirks, and charm are lost along with that secret room that only a child's size and imagination can possibly make the most of ;-)

It's an amazing property just the way it is, and if you think it might be your dream home, you'll need to keep your diary clear for the 22nd February when this one will have it's turn at Smith and Son's auction. There will be a very very happy purchaser in the auction room when the hammer falls on this one!
