A substantial area of shingle beach extending to 329.94 acres (133.52 hectares), including 14.92 acres (6.04 hectares) of fresh water lakes. The whole site is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The land is subject to Management Agreements and an annual Fishing Licence.
