A fascinating prospect being a subterranean former nuclear bunker on a plot extending to 0.03 hectares (0.09 acres). The bunker extends to around 7’ x 15’ overall with access from ground level down a vertical ladder and was originally manned by 2 or 3 people. This particular bunker was a master post which served other local posts in the area. Thankfully these stations were never needed to fulfill their purpose and in 1991 they were closed.
