Record breaking number of lots go under hammer at Auction House London this month

152 property lots - the highest number of monthly entries in the history of Auction House London - are being sold in the capital on Wednesday 12 September 2018.

Two of the highlights at the sale include a two bedroom first floor apartment close to the shops and restaurants of Marylebone. There is just 7 years left to run on the 48 year long lease which is reflected in the price. Bidding on the flat will be starting at £150,000.

In Harlesden, another property which could prove a canny investment is a three bedroom mid terrace house in Tubbs Road which needs total refurbishment and structural repairs after it was damaged in a fire. The Victorian property has a guide price of £275,000.

Director and Auctioneer at Auction House London, Andrew Binstock said, “We’re delighted that so many people have chosen to sell their property through us this time around. We’ve had good sales results the last couple of auctions in an extremely tough market.”

Across the UK, the lots sold by Auction House so far this year increased by 7.3% on the same period in 2017.

Andrew Binstock added, “It’s proving hard for sellers in 2018 but ahead of the winter could be the best time to sell while properties look at their best.”
