Modern semi detached property located in this popular village

Right, it's off to Cumbria to check out a fab three bedroom property today, for sale on 13th December with Auction House Cumbria.

It's a perfect blank canvas, so if you're seeking a home that you can make your mark on without a big restoration also required, then your time will be well spent taking a closer look at this one.

You have an ideal village setting here, but the property itself is lovely, modern, and has benefit of balconies to two floors at the rear of the property. To me that indicates some lovely views to be taken advantage of from this attractive and spacious property.

Going by the image shown of pretty countryside stretching as far as the eye can see, those balconies to both ground and first floors will be ideal spots from which to relax out of doors while taking in the view, weather permitting of course. Both the views and outdoor spaces will add some real wow factor when entertaining your visiting friends and loved ones.

Being within easy reach of the Lake District National Park, it's not only the views from your home that will be very fine indeed. It's an area with incredible scenery throughout and there are numerous nearby places of interest, so a property situated in such a desirable location is the perfect home base from which you can gain easy access to all the wonderful attractions that exist only a stone's throw away from your doorstep.

Right, it's time we moved beyond the lovely clean lines and pale cream walls of the exterior. This is a property in perfect condition to move right into. Immaculate throughout, the only negative would be if you are bothered by the neutral colour scheme being the exact same across all three floors. Ironically, even if you wouldn't like that single tone throughout, it's so modern and crisp that any painting and decorating you have in mind should be a lovely straight forward process.

You could easily go daft and dramatically change each room to become entirely unique in its colour scheme and/or theme, or perhaps you could use an overall scheme that will ensure each room complements those adjoining. But if all that DIY sounds like too much hassle for you, there's also the option to simply add pops of colour to each room using pictures, wall hangings, rugs/flooring, and bold furniture or unique soft furnishings. So even those who don't want to lift a roller or paint brush, you can still have great fun turning this blank canvas into a home filled with character unique to your personal tastes throughout.

Right, while I will normally take you on a room by room tour of a property, the neutral theme and lack of furnishings would probably make that a boring tour that does no justice to a property like this one. I shall however mention some highlights worth taking a closer look at. The first and most obvious is that gorgeous kitchen with it's striking flooring made up of super shiny large dark tiles that is then mirrored by those dark worktops. It's not often you will see such a large, modern space that benefits from having such a large section of the wall given over to windows floor to ceiling with a door from which to access the balcony outside. This allows your guests to spill outdoors while entertaining, or for you to simply take a few steps with your morning cuppa and/or breakfast so as to take in the fresh air and views while you fuel up for the day ahead. What a fine way to start the day!

Another fine feature is those awesome attic rooms with their little ceiling spotlights(matching those used in the kitchen), angular ceilings from being snuggled up into the eaves, and the wonderful layout as a fully complete space comprising of a large bedroom with own shower en suite, and a walk in dressing room that appears to have built in wardrobes/storage. It's a lovely setup with very good sized window that lets plenty natural light into a very spacious room. There's a further two bedrooms on the first floor alongside a good sized living room, but that attic en suite bedroom is very clearly the largest and a true master bedroom if ever I saw one.

Lastly, I really should make mention of the gardens outside. It's a great sized outdoor space, but hasn't really had anything much done with it so far. There appears to be a bit of decking, and there's also a patio area as well that's perfect for some outdoor furnishings, etc. Beyond that there's just some small trees/shrubs dotted around the edge of the space. It is again a perfect blank canvas in which you can create the garden of your dreams. Maintenance will be pretty straight forward as it is, and there's loads of space for either kids to run about and play in, or in which to let loose those green fingers to make the space bright, colourful, and potentially productive with some kind of small herb or kitchen garden. The possibilities are endless!

So, what do you think folks? This three bedroom home is just begging for someone to put their stamp on the place, and there looks to be no actual work required before moving in unless you opt to change the decor beforehand. This property would be ideal for any owner occupier or investor when it goes up at auction on the 13th December. If you've been on the hunt for that ideal dream home then this might well fit the bill.

Wishing you a lovely Sunday.
