Bond Wolfe Auctions new agreement with City of Wolverhampton Council

Bond Wolfe Auctions will be offering four residential lots for the City of Wolverhampton Council in its next remote bidding auction on Wednesday 29 July.

The properties are the first lots to be offered by Bond Wolfe Auctions since being appointed by City of Wolverhampton Council to dispose of their surplus property stock.

The auction follows Bond Wolfe’s first remote bidding auction on Wednesday 24 June which attracted 131 lots and raised over £17 million with an astonishing 98% success rate.

The 29 July auction will see more than 170 lots go under the hammer, including properties in Wolverhampton and Bilston.

They include 93 Prestwood Road, Wolverhampton, a three bed, semi-detached house standing back from the road behind a driveway and front garden. The property requires some redecorating but comes with a gas fired central heating system and UPVC double glazing. It has a *guide price of £120,000+.

1 Warstones Road (pictured above) in Wolverhampton is a three bedroom detached bungalow, set back from the road behind a front garden. Another property with plenty of scope for improvement, it has a guide price of £110,000+.

At 18 Castlecroft Road, Wolverhampton, a scheme of refurbishment will also be required for this three bedroom, semi-detached property which already has gas central heating and comes with a guide price of £115,000+.

In Bilston at 76 Beckett Street, Bond Wolfe Auctions are offering a two bedroom, mid-terraced house with gas fired central heating and UPVC double glazing which will also require refurbishment. It has a guide price of £37,000+.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by the City of Wolverhampton Council and these are the first four lots we will be offering for them.

“We are very proud to be partnered with more local authorities than any other auctioneer in the Midlands, including Birmingham City Council and Walsall Council, as well as selling lots on behalf of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council on an ad hoc basis.”
