From large properties in the countryside beyond Wolverhampton city limits to two-bedroomed terraced houses with guide prices* starting as low as £14,000, more than 50 homes are set to go under the hammer at the sale event.

Typical is a four bedroom mid-terraced house at 208 Newhampton Road East, Wolverhampton, (pictured) with a guide price of just £39,000+*. With a large rear yard, gas fired central heating and UPVC double glazing, the property is in need for refurbishment work throughout – hence the low price tag.

Over in Smethwick, 66 Claremont Road is a three bedroom end terrace house with potential for easy conversion into a pair of two bedroomed flats, subject to planning permission.

Listed with a guide price of £135,000+, it is currently laid out with three reception rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom with WC on the ground floor, with three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. With gardens outside, gas fired central heating and double glazing, it also has emergency lighting and sound proofing fitted.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “These are typical of the broad range of properties coming up for auction at our December event.

“Wherever people look across the Black Country, and at whatever price level, we’re sure to have something to suit first time buyers, families wanting to find somewhere bigger, or landlords looking to increase their portfolio.

“Many properties are in need of some redecorating, DIY or tender loving care to a greater or lesser extent, which adds to the incredible value they offer.”

Among the other lots is a three bedroomed semi-detached house with gardens and a garage at 1 Holly Bush Lane, Amblecote, Stourbridge, with a guide price of £85,000+.

A price of just £44,000-£49,000 is suggested for a three bedroomed semi at 18 Angus Close, West Bromwich, laid out with a through reception room L-shaped kitchen with dining area, WC and conservatory on the ground floor and three bedrooms with a shower room upstairs.

A three bedroomed semi-detached house at 5 Devon Road, Willenhall, is listed with a guide price of £69,000+, offering remarkable value for a home in good order.

Some DIY skills would be needed for the new owner of the three bedroom mid-terraced house at 50 Queen Street, Bilston, however, hence its bargain guide price of just £14,000-£19,000. Laid out with two reception rooms, a kitchen and bathroom with WC downstairs, three bedrooms upstairs and a yard to the rear. It benefits from UPVC double glazing but is in need of refurbishment.

The Black Country homes are among 197 lots that will appear in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which starts at 9am on Wednesday 8 December. The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet only.
