Where are my Future Auction HOT PICKS today?

Today we are off to Hampshire to take a look at a fab 4 bedroom family home that is ready to move right into, needing nothing more than perhaps a fresh lick of paint.

This charming property has lots of character both inside and out. There is loads of space for off road parking to the front and the back garden is large and well laid out, but with plenty of scope to make your mark should you choose to put a little time and effort into this fantastic space.

Inside this is a home that needs very little effort to imagine living in. The floors, walls, large windows, etc are all well cared for and look great with the mostly neutral palette. That said, there's one exception, the games room/summer house... with walls in a deep reddish shade(which may well be the same shade as the lower portion of exterior walls I think!) this large room is able to cope with the bold colour without detriment to the feeling of being spacious. Though given that there is everything from two snooker/pool tables, to pinball and arcade machines, this is a very good sized space to have fitted in so many fun things to do!! Beware though, showing this one to loved ones may result in them getting ideas about having a similar entertainment room!! I know I would absolutely adore a room like that, but equally so I can imagine that it's not everyone's thing! :-D

We can't really see much more in the images with this one. There's a fantastic feature fireplace in the living room, the kitchen looks well laid out and with loads of surface space for those who love to cook and bake. It appears that the far end of the garden was allocated to some kind of small allotment/kitchen garden space, and it's hardly surprising that part of the garden has been used in this way given that there is such a well thought out kitchen nearby for using up all that home grown produce!

I'll let you take a look yourselves now... it's a wonderful property, with many great features including some kind of balcony/terrace to the rear first floor. We don't have details on that particular feature. This is a property that has lots of little extras to be spotted in the pics. It's going to be a popular one at auction :-)

Now, remaining in Hampshire, our next stop is to take a look at a 2 bedroom property that is in need of some TLC. With a striking brickwork exterior, this is a property that comes with a spectacular feature staircase that is both very unusual, and very attractive.

We see a lot of properties here at UKAL, and I can honestly say that spiral staircases like this one are pretty uncommon. It appears in the dining room of the property, and actually runs from the lower floor right up through the ground floor to finish on the first floor. It's really unusual, in particular as there are vertical metal bars enclosing the staircase instead of a spiral bannister. I really like it personally, though I'd imagine it may not be to everyone's taste. I should also probably mention that the image of the staircase is only shown in the listings on the auction house website, and it is not one of the images selected for display in the catalogue. A real shame considering it's the most unusual and striking feature of this property!

This property is well worth your time taking a closer look, and while it needs some modernisation, it is a fantastic blank canvas on which to make your mark, and areas such as the kitchen actually don't need much done if anything!

There's a large workshop/garage and a roof terrace above. This is no garden though, so for green fingered folks you'd have to settle for planters and pots on the roof terrace. I see no other negative points with this brill 2 bedroom home though, and I'll be surprised if it isn't snapped up quickly when it's turn comes around at auction :-)
