Stranmillis £20k three-bed house among the bargain list at upcoming auction

A house priced at £20,000, half an acre of land starting from £12,000 and an £85,000 end terrace in the sought-after Stranmillis area are all up for grabs at an upcoming property auction.

The lowest priced lot in the October auction is over half an acre of land in Clough, Ballymena. Accessed via a laneway off the Glenleslie Road and priced at £12,000, the land was once approved planning permission for a house and garage. Potential buyers are encouraged to pursue further planning opportunities.

The Osborne King auction, which will take place at 11am on 20th October at the Clayton Hotel, Ormeau Avenue, will see shops, offices and residential properties auctioned off.

Mark Carron, director at Osborne King said he expects the combined value of all 63 lots at the auction to be around £5.5m.

He said: "We are currently experiencing a high volume of interest and offers on lots in the catalogue and expect the sale to go very well. Our June auction was very successful, raising over £11.6m and our biggest auction sale since 2007. We intend to hold an additional 2017 auction on December 1 and are currently collating properties for this catalogue. This catalogue will be released in early November."
