Check out this beauty in Bedford for auction this month

Just the one property I have for you today as I’ve quite a lot to say about it!

It is a charming Grade II Listed 4 bedroom period property with a 1 bed annexe located in beautiful Bedfordshire.

This is a truly stunning property with an incredibly striking exterior. Everything right down to the eye catching chimney at the front of this property is saturated with fabby little details and quirks throughout. I instantly fell in love with those lovely stone walls, and the unusual detail to the gable ends. The windows add further still to this pretty home, and all those varying angles, corners, and roof angles to the front elevation add further still to a property already bursting with character thanks to the unusual design.

It is rare that a property can completely stop me in my tracks with the very first glimpse of the front elevation, but this is one of those rare gems. I see hundreds of properties every week, and yes there are a great number of very pretty properties that pass my way, but ones that stand out from the crowd as being truly unique and having bags of character? Well, trust me, properties this fab and quirky in appearance really are very few and far between!

Now, while we are outside I should probably also mention that there is plenty of parking with this one thanks to the large gravel driveway area with space for several cars. While there isn't much of the gardens in the images, they certainly sound as though they have been given the same levels of attention and care as the property itself, which bodes well for those green fingered garden lovers out there who are keeping an eye out for an established garden. The benefit of having fruit trees amongst the lawns, shrubs, and borders... well, that's a real plus point for those keen in the kitchen and it's a great opportunity for both the novice and experienced cook/baker alike to have access to fresh fruits so close at hand.

Hmmm, time perhaps for us to take a peek inside next? Yup, I think I've covered the outside rather thoroughly for this one, so stick around and we can take a peek at what this charming family home has to offer inside...

This property is described as having a master bedroom with en suite, and a further 3 bedrooms... I don't know for sure which bedroom we are shown in the included interior image, but I can certainly vouch for the good size of the room shown, and am pleased to see that the quirkiness is equally prevalent inside with those wonderful gable ends leading to high angled ceilings in at least one of the bedrooms. Going by the footprint of the house, it looks like this is likely to be a feature in other bedrooms as well.

What is so wonderful about the way those bedrooms have been created in this house is that unlike some homes that will have you lose ceiling height when adding a bedroom in the attic for example, instead in this property those angled ceilings were clearly always planned and intended when it was designed... so in this case you have a good height of wall in the room before that slope begins, making far more head room than you might expect to see in a room of this style. Which is good news for tall folks out there that are normally put off by a feature like this! :-)

Now, unfortunately we weren't shown any interior shots from the ground floor, which is a pity as I'd have loved to see the kitchen in particular... but it all sounds good from the description at least, and that ground floor footprint is rather extensive. This is a spacious family home with a lovely conservatory, and extremely handy 1 bed annexe with private entrance that's absolutely perfect for dependants or visiting loved ones.

So, what do you think folks? It's a fab property, and so intriguing that it wouldn't surprise me if a few of you end up going a little further than I've been able to... since this one is well worth a little time spent viewing and getting to see all the wonderful little quirks and features that couldn't be fitted into the auction lot. Unfortunately for me, this one is too far away for getting that closer look, but hey, there may not be anything stopping you... and this one is going to be popular at auction. Good luck folks, someone is getting a truly wonderful family home when the hammer falls at auction.

This one is so well placed within walking distance of the town centre and train station. Handy for those commuting to work elsewhere, and everything you could possibly need is close at hand here.

With so much space both inside and out, you could easily support quite the growing and/or expanding family in this charming property, and what a wonderful environment for kid to grow up in. There's something quite magical about this property, and if I can feel that as a grown up, just think of how much your kids would love this one! ;-)
